1. FOOTPRINTS 3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

This month we return with our 3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! For this special occasion we are giving away limited copies of our LIVE cd - it is first come first served of course!

We are urging everyone to arrive as early as possible as space is very limited. But to ensure that you visitors of my site don't have to wait in line I have provided an online guestlist. Just rsvp me your name and # of guests and I will place you on my $5 list.

***The footage of Lisa Messina's AMAZING Tap Dance performance from our February party is finally up! I cannot stress enough how much work her & I put into this piece...I swear a good 3 weeks non stop.

2. TURNING POINT
w/ Djs: A Man Called Warwick & Special Guest: Senor Vishal

Turning Point is back after such a successful event last month! We received a feature on CBC radio and in NOW Magazine which helped draw another 100 people out - making the already high monthly attendance skyrocket!
This month, Warwick has selected his good friend - local obscurio maestro Senor Vishal. He has been collecting vintage brasilian, latin, african & tropical music for more than 15 years and knows a ting or two about moving the mind and body.

3. WALL OF SOUND Weekly
w/ DJ General Eclectic
When: 1st Thursday of each month/ Next event: May 05th (10pm - 2am)
Where: Beaconsfield (1154 Queen St. W)

You can catch me the 1st Thurs of each month over at the Beaconsfield Resto/Bar. It is a newly opened establishment that is a mix between a traditional English Style Pub and an Art Deco Lounge. It is not but 4 months old and is already becoming a cozy neighbourhood spot...I fancy the place and enjoy the atmosphere - hopefully you can make it out to hear me select my favorites.
Wall Of Sound is a chance for me to delve further into my love of vintage American 60s & 70s blues, soul, funk and r&b. From classic heartbreaker type love songs, to unknown dusty ballads, to bottom heavy r&b sides.
Some artists you might hear at one of these parties include: Booker T, Chuck Bernard, Milton Wright, James Brown, The Gaturs, Eddie Bo, Betty Harris, Stevie Wonder, Little Beaver, Aretha Franklin & many more.
I do take requests but reserve the right to assess the appropriatness of said request within that given moment. (ie: no Sabbath, Britney Spears, Abba, or please no 'something i can dance to')

My sister, Gayla Trail, has just finished a book all about Gardening from the ground up!
It is without a doubt a super fantastic acheivement.
This event is going to be a lot of fun!

Yes, Footprints is nearly upon us once again! What a heated session last month was!? Special thanks goes out to Lisa Messina, our special guest dancer who just killed it w/ some of the most inspired Tap Dancing! Her & I worked long and hard to bring up the level that nite - it was so exciting to pull it off!
Keep posted here as I will be uploading the footage of that performance within a couple days.
